We are looking for a skilled Machinist (5-axis machining) for our client SH-Teksor Oy for a permanent position in Tuusula.

SH-Teksor is Finland’s leading manufacturer of acid-resistant threaded components and a subsidiary of the Swedish Nords International AB. The company combines decades of experience, modern production, and an open-minded culture of development. Operations are growing and exports are expanding – we are now looking for a new expert to join the team.

A job where you get to do real machining

In this role, you will work with 5-axis machining, processing stainless steel in a modern production environment. Your daily work mainly consists of machining, and you will typically work with two machines. The production batch sizes vary between approximately 50–500 pieces, with part sizes of 20–250 mm and weights ranging from 10 grams to a few kilograms.

The machine base includes DMG Mori machines, and during the spring our production will again be complemented by new equipment solutions, so the job also offers a good opportunity to develop your own skills. You can explore your future workstation machine in more detail here.

We work in two shifts on weekdays: our morning shifts are Mon–Fri 6:00–14:00 and our evening shifts Mon–Thu 14:00–24:00, with Fridays off.

Desired skills

• CAM programming: Ability to understand and modify 5-axis toolpaths; Fanuc or Siemens expertise is also considered

• Ability to read technical drawings

• Knowledge of materials and tools

• Problem-solving skills: Ability to fix programming or setup issues.

What kind of person succeeds in this job?

We are looking for someone with machining skills and experience in 5-axis machining. You may have, for example, a machinist’s education or equivalent practical experience from production. We also hope the applicant has good teamwork skills, an independent working approach, and a desire to develop as a professional in the field.

Our working languages are English and Finnish.
